Rainy Day Activities and Crafts for Kids

August 3, 2015 By Megan 4 Comments

Rainy days are the perfect time to use your imagination for some creative fun, for doing simple crafts, or even for some family baking time. They can be tough with little ones who have a lot of energy though, since being cooped up inside all day can be hard on everyone. I find rainy days in the summer particularly trying since we like to spend as much time outside as we can normally. But when the rain arrives, I head to my Pinterest board of kids crafts and art or indoor play inspiration for some fun ideas on things to do inside though. Indoor rainy day activities are made even more fun when you can incorporate some weather-related crafts or activities in there. I’ve rounded up some of the best rainy day activities and crafts for kids to make it easy for you to find fun things to do with the little ones on that next rainy day that keeps you stuck indoors.
